Staying at Seaview is truly the quintessential down south holiday experience. This very stylish 4 bedroom house, is set in 2.7 acres on an elevated position in the Gunyulgup Valley and is the perfect place to explore the infamous Margaret River wine region from.
It has all your creature comforts and boasts modern spacious bathrooms finished to a high standard. Only minutes from award winning cellar doors and restaurants, and a five minute drive to both Smiths Beach and iconic Yallingup Beach, the location is unbeatable. The beach town of Dunsborough is approximately 10 minutes drive away with shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants, and the historic Caves House Hotel is less than 5 minutes away.
The feeling of being able to return to a beautiful home after a days activity in the region is priceless, soaking up the sunset and ocean views, cooking a BBQ with a glass of wine or two with friends and family and watching the abundance of wildlife that frequent the gardens.
The deck has a state of the art retractable canopy and cafe blinds, so you can maximise your alfresco comfort, protected from both the sun and wind in summer and rain in winter. There is also a fire pit for cosy evenings in winter.
There is reverse cycle air conditioning throughout the property, including all bedrooms.
The only down side is having to leave at the end of your stay….

An easy 3-hour drive south of Perth brings you to the Dunsborough / Yallingup area, a short hop from some of Western Australia’s best swimming beaches, including secluded Meelup Beach, the sweeping sands of Eagle Bay, the sheltered turquoise waters of Bunker Bay and the surf and beauty of Yallingup beach and Smiths Beach.
Beside the calm and clear waters of Geographe Bay, the holiday town of Dunsborough is a favourite “down south” family destination. A short walk or scenic drive brings you to secluded coves and stunning coastal beaches and trails, with local award-winning wineries and breweries offering the perfect excuse for a lazy lunch.
Just a short distance off Dunsborough’s coast, keen divers can take a snoop around one of the largest accessible dive wrecks in the southern hemisphere. At 113 metres long and home to an abundance of marine life, the former HMAS Swan ranks high on Australia-wide diver wish lists.
From nearby Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, you can follow the trail of one of the most diverse walking treks on Earth, the Cape to Cape. If you’d prefer just to take a few vertical steps instead, climb the lighthouse for 360 degree views of Geographe Bay – a top spot for watching whales cruise by on their annual migration and learning a little about the region’s rich maritime history.
The region boasts a vibrant arts scene, with live music, widely-renowned art galleries and bustling summer markets in Dunsborough, Yallingup, Margaret River and Busselton.
The cellar doors of the Margaret River region’s 100-plus award-winning wineries and their tasting rooms are a short scenic drive away. For beer-lovers, the region has numerous boutique breweries. Other indulgences include locally made ice-creams, fudge and chocolate, not to mention plump juicy olives and rich fruity preserves.
